Grafica rolls out world's first and only 5-in-1 nano-screen maker

 Grafica Flextronia, a leading manufacturer of flat bed semi automatic and fully automatic screen printing machines and allied products, has rolled out the world’s first and only 5-in-1 compact Nano Screen Maker and Nano-Squeegee Sharpener at a launching ceremony held on May 15, 2010 at the company's premises in Vasai, near Mumbai. 5-in-1 is a single-phase plug ‘n’ play device mounted on a smooth castor wheel for mobility.
On this occasion, Mr. Bhargav Mistry, Managing Director of Grafica also unveiled Nano Premier League (NPL), a complete inhouse screen printing solution which is aimed at giving total freedom to screen printers all over India especially small and medium sized who can ‘play’ better role by producing high quality prints with low investment. “The ultimate objective is to inculcate good business practices among the screen printers in India,” said Bhargav.
5-in-1 Nano Screen Maker comprises of:
Fabric Stretching equipment: Designed to achieve perfect screens with optimum screen tension as desired with the help of Tension Meter. Screen Coater: A unique spring loaded quick clamping device holds the screen vertically while operator coats the emulsion. Screen Dryer: The system is designed to dry screens horizontally to get uniform emulsion thickness all over.
Screen Exposing unit: It's designed with superior metal halide lamp, coupled with light integrator to avoid screen failures, stretchable rubber blanket for vacuum to produce high quality screens. Screen Inspector: The inspector is designed to spread uniform light across the screen to ensure no spots are left unnoticed.
NPL which includes 5-in-1 is a perfect solution which saves space and reduces capital cost. It will be a great boon to such printers who want to switch over to automation. The biggest advantage for the customers is that they can also get training in advanced screen printing at the company’s inhouse institute – DMI which also conducts regular workshops free of cost.
Tata Capital Limited has come forward to provide finance to “deserving screen printers” all over India who want to go for full automation by buying any of Grafica’s machines including Nano Premier League (NPL) and other Nano series of products. This was announced by Mr. Soumya Ranjan, Manager – Product Development Tata Capital Ltd who was present at the launching ceremony. For the benefit of customers there will be a single contact point at Grafica.
“This type of financial arrangements (capital equipment financing for screen printers) is happening for the first time in the screen printing industry in India,” said Bhargav.
